Honestly, I was stressed about the tracing part, but the pattern was already printed on the fabric perfectly. The yarn is super soft and doesn't split easily. It took me about three evenings on the couch to finish it.
This is a decent kit if you just want to learn the muscle memory of punch needling. The hoop and the fabric are great quality. However, the yarn felt a bit cheap and scratchy. It looks fine on the finished piece, but it wasn't the nicest to work with. Still, a solid option for the price point.
It literally has everything you need right out of the box. I’ve never done textile arts before, but the tutorial that's included saved the day. Now I'm hooked!
